Create an internet or WiFi bill online

Prepare a broadband service bill with provider details, customer account, plan, billing period, charges, and payment status. Review the total and balance before downloading. Preview is free; the final PDF uses credits.

View the internet bill formats before choosing your layout.

How to create your bill PDF

  1. Enter the internet provider and customer account details.
  2. Add the bill number, bill date, due date, and billing period.
  3. Choose the connection type and record the plan, speed, and billing cycle.
  4. Enter plan charges, any add-ons, discount, tax, payment status, and amount paid.
  5. Check the account, service period, total, and balance in the preview before downloading the PDF.

Internet bill example: plan charges and part payment

Plan charges of 800 plus equipment rental of 50 give a subtotal of 850. A discount of 50 leaves a total of 800 when tax is zero for this example. Select Partially Paid and enter 300 as Amount Paid to show a remaining balance of 500.

These values illustrate the arithmetic, not a plan price or tax rate. Use the actual service charges and selected currency.

Billing cycle does not multiply the charge

Plan details let you record a monthly, quarterly, half-year, or annual cycle. Service dates can identify the start and end of the period.

The Monthly Plan Charges field contributes the entered amount once. Selecting Quarterly does not multiply it by three, and service dates do not calculate a prorated charge. Enter the charge that covers the period shown.

Add-ons, discounts, and payment status

Add-ons include static IP, content bundles, equipment rental, installation, and other one-time charges. Check that an included plan benefit is not charged again. Use Discount to reduce the charges.

Paid status treats the full bill total as paid. For a part payment, select Partially Paid and enter the amount received. For an unpaid bill, select Unpaid and set Amount Paid to zero. Check the status and balance together.

Keep the account and service record clear

Customer account number, connection number, and bill number identify different things. Check them against your service record and include the payment reference where available.

BillQuest does not retrieve bills from an internet provider or verify an account. For an original provider bill, use the provider’s account portal. See invoice versus receipt for the difference between charges and payment acknowledgement.

Internet Bill Generator FAQ

Is it free to use?

Entering details and checking the preview are free. Downloading the final PDF uses credits. The format picker shows the cost; see pricing for credit packs.

Can I make a broadband or WiFi bill?

Yes. Enter the provider, customer, plan, billing period, charges, and payment details for the service.

Can I include the account and connection numbers?

Yes. Use Account Number under Customer account and Connection Number under Connection IDs.

Does a quarterly billing cycle triple the charge?

No. The entered plan charge is used once. Enter the amount for the billing period you are recording.

Do service dates calculate a partial-month charge?

No. They record the service period. Calculate the agreed charge separately and enter that amount.

Can I add equipment rental or installation fees?

Yes. Open Add-ons for equipment rental, installation, and the other supported extra charges.

How do I show a partial payment?

Select Partially Paid, enter the actual Amount Paid, and check the remaining balance. Selecting Paid instead treats the whole total as paid.

Will it fetch my provider’s original bill?

No. It creates a bill from your entries. Download an original provider-issued bill from the provider’s account or support service.
